Wix Oil and Air Filter

I have always used Wix air and oil filters. Anybody had any problems using them in a 2004 4Runner V6?

Wix is one of the industry leaders. You will have no issues at all.

Wix is a great oil filter. When I cant find an oil change special including a mobil 1 or K&N filter, my vehicles almost always get a Wix. I cant comment on the air filter, but I cant imagine it would be a bad choice.

Cross the numbers with other makes such as napa filter and you will find that its the same number with a 5 in front or something. Wix actually makes a lot of filters including napa and many others.

When I did service we used WIX on every car, truck and and piece of equipment. They are heavy duty and high flow filter. However they do not filter as fine of particles since they are not made of synthetic filter media.
Regardless of the oil filter you use I always slap a couple old hard drive magnets on all my filters and wrap them a couple times with electrical tape. Works just as good as a filtermag and it's basically free

I have used wix for years. I use factory filters, fram toughguard, purolator pureone or wix. All have a metal case and ADBV and meet factory spec. For air filters I use Fram and change every 20k. Never an issue and my oil UOA reports at 100,000 miles show very low wear metals on my Toyotas.
