Anyone have experience the the Wolfbox rearview mirror camera systems? They have me caught up in their ad campaign on IG and it's starting to work.....

I have one and i love it. iMO it’s worth it for the dash cam alone and all of the other features are a bonus. You will like it and it’s not very expensive on Amazon.

I have a Spade (I believe bought by Wolfbox, or they rebranded). I absolutely love it. Recommend it any chance I get and it get's a lot of attention.

I've been looking at upgrading it, as I've had it for like 5ish years now, and wouldn't mind new tech and better resolution. Mine is 2k front and 1080 rear. It honestly works great though, and I have no complaints.
Recently got into a car accident (not my fault) and the dash cam performed flawlessly. Likely saved me from being at fault tbh.

I obviously got it for the dash cam purposes, but a major functional part for me is the rear reversing. My tire on the carrier takes up a lot of my view, so having the cam view while reversing is so crucial.

My biggest suggestion is if you're getting one get the hardwire kit as well.

Also, when I bought my mirror it had the standard elastic strap mount. Mounting it to the factory mirror never felt secure and it moved a bit. I ended up buying one of these.
Wolfbox probably has mounts specifically for theirs, but if they don't for the version you get or if you get a different brand, I'd suggest that mount.

The only drawback, which not a huge dealbreaker for me, is that these mirrors are so wide that the sun visors will be limited with how far down they go.

Lastly, if you don't get one that has "smart connect" features to download video straight to your phone, I'd suggest getting a card reader that can plug into your phone, and keep it in your vehicle.
If you have Type C, here's the one I got.

Not a dashcam specifically, but having a rearview camera that show below the rear hatch line has been a nice upgrade for me. I have gotten used to it on other newer cars and it adds a great layer of safety in parking lots, etc. I also added a front camera for off roading (mostly) to be able to see over crests, etc. This is all through my stereo, so no dash cam functionality.

A good friend loves his - and uses the front camera for parking his lowered car a with front-lip.. No more damaging front lips...

I see the appeal...

Thanks guys - I kinda figured I'd end up owning one. I'm a little concerned that the discerning bipper will see it and help themselves to it......

I have one it’s good for the camera & at night.
What I don’t like is I can only use one sun visitor now & it seems like the mirror needs a longer arm for more adjustment as the plugs are on top

I’ve been using one for about a year, and it’s actually handier than I thought it would be. The wider view makes a big difference when changing lanes, and the night vision is way clearer than my regular mirror, especially in rain. It does stick out a bit more than a normal mirror, so it felt awkward for the first few days, but now I don’t even notice it.
