I wouldn't bother with that Trey, a couple of them "joined" today and have been trolling all day just causing problems. No real input in regards to Toyota or anything. Just FLAMING posts.

I would sooner say husky or malamute than a wolf. I live in an area with wolves and they are much sleeker and streamlined. Plus, I don't think that dude would know how to get a real wolf...
And dudes like that are in my area all the time. Interesting about the different perceptions of two photos from other parts of the country.

Remember that it wasn't too long ago that wolves were federally protected. They've only recently been de-listed in some areas, but not in others.
But when initially protected in 1973, the only wolves in captivity were generally on game farms which had permits predating federal protection, zoos, and those kept for scientific study and/or re-population. That means that even if an animal in question today is a wolf, it's likely been inbred to the point that it's barely recognizable as the Canis lupus we see in the wild. Or, it's been crossbred with a similar dog species at some point, either to keep the line going or to try and "breed out" some of the undesirable traits (like the need to run as much, be as carnivorous, etc.).

I completely forgot that my brother once lived with a wolf. And a straight from nature wolf at that. He was living on a self-sustained farm up in Blaine, WA for a little bit. The farm had around 20 dogs and apparently the owner of the farm came across a wolf pup. I guess he assumed its mom was killed or something, so he took it in. I would visit him and it was super nice, but you could just tell it was wild by looking in its eyes. One day it took off and never came back.
