Well, Timbers *comes to mind. Rosie's, Gramma Dot's, lunch at George & Wendy's yesterday was the best crab cakes I've ever had, plus a terrific lobster/tomato/mozzarella salad.

I was told by a local that The Sandbar is good, but I've not been there yet.

There is so much good food here, I'll gain 15# before I leave.

Funny, you say the servers do not like snowbirds, it's 100% of their business - locals don't go there. They're just used to so much business they don't have to be nice. There are too many great places here to put up with mediocrity.

ETA. If you like bouillabaisse, get the cioppino at Timbers.

Obviously It is all in how we grow up, as I was picking Chesapeake Blue Crabs since I was 3 years old. Old Bay is in my blood, heck my kids only eat eggs with it and put old Bay on everything already (I know really good for a 2 year olds sodium level). But to your point, Louisiana crawfish =

I think you will like Fort Myers beach middle/south end many from ind/minn/ill..
place I am in is loaded with Ill plates. condo unit ... walk to beach about 300 ft.

a lot of people own these condos from Midwest.
Naples is mass and Canada.

The 4R is a great!! travel vehicle. Cruises along at 75-80 no sweat - love the new LTXs. And it scares the beejezus out of the wife when I floor it to pass on the 2 lanes. What a great engine. Only travel downfall I can see is all the room. I was unloading the car and said to the wife “why do you bring so much stuff”? She smiled and said “because I can”.

Odo is now sitting at ~1700 miles and OBC still reads 20.6. 90% interstate at 70-75+, 10% rural 2-lane at 60-65, and 10% city. The disparity in mpg reported on T4R.org is odd ... but I am among the few who are bone stock.

Floriduh is a beautiful state, but the traffic, OMG the traffic! And ‘pass on the left’? Hell no, we’ll just drive 85-90 and pass in any damned lane we want, thank you very much. Yikes.
