Midwestern Snowbirds don't bother me one bit. Midwesterners, sans Chicagoland, are the nicest folks.

But M*******s, NY, Quebec, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey - they are the reason you get discriminated against by locals.

They wanna go 45mph through a school zone on their way to golf practice, but when they can't find the exit they seek on the interstate end up driving 40mph in the fast lane. :flamethrwoer2:

Well, to close it out ... got home last night after 12 hr drive home from Jackson, MS. Booked it pretty hard for the great majority of the drive, 75-80 mph, about half in the rain. The 4R (with the new LTXs) just performed wonderfully. Great road trip vehicle. Almost 4300 miles for the trip, OBC reads 21.3 mpg. CC still sucks.

After 1 hr of sleep, tornado sirens went off last night.

Looks like you had a nice trip.

The 4r is a great road trip vehicle.

I live in Miami and love every second of it, could not drag me from S. FL.

It is too bad it is such a long ways to go out west, I would like to take the 4r on some light trails for scenic views.

I think you will like Fort Myers beach middle/south end many from ind/minn/ill..
place I am in is loaded with Ill plates. condo unit ... walk to beach about 300 ft.

I'm from IL and my folks just went from snowbirds to full timers a year ago in Cape Coral next to Ft. Myers. From the people I have met down there visiting, this sounds about right.
