Wood Dash Kit Update

Hey guys,

I've been away for awhile and it's good to be back. It looks like Thai has gotten a bunch more folks on here. He does a great service for everyone.

I finally received and installed my wood dash from B&I Trim. It has great potential and eventually it will be a stunning kit. I'm going through the pain of the first year production model. They are working through getting a few of the pieces fine tuned to fit right. My recommendation is to wait until they get the pieces corrected. If you like the wood look and they get the few pieces worked out, this will greatly enhance the interior of your 4Runner. I was told today by Andrea at B&I Trim it would be another month before they make the modifications required. I will post as soon as I get more info.

Cheers
Roy

Roy, thanks for the support! :bigok:

Are the wood dash trim simulated wood or real stuff??

Any idea about cost??

Thanks.

No problem! Keep up the good work!

The kits are both, Real Wood and Simulated Wood. The Real wood kit is $411 and the Simulated kit is $311.

Per B&I's recommendation I went with the simulated kit. I would challange anyone to tell the difference. It looks very rich and classy. When they get it fitted correctly, I can say it makes the interior look like a million bucks.

Cheers,
Roy

I just ordered an overstock kit off Ebay for $60... hasn't arrived yet.. but if you have pics of your kit installed, please post them!

IMO, the aluminum wood dash kit will brighten your 4Runner interior. It is a good combo with the xenon interior lighting. Also, My 4Runner is Silver, too.
