Woofer cover on non JBL cargo space

I bought a stock jbl enclosure off CL and am about to do the jl sub upgrade. I have an 03 Sport without the JBL system which means I simply have a cargo space where the sub goes. I am wondering how others are covering the woofer after the install since its just a plastic cover over the cargo area. Any recommendation or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Why not cut a hole in the cover that's there and put in a subwoofer grille, or some mesh?
