WooHooo...Snow is coming !!

We are supposed to get 6-9" on thursday....I love wheelin in the snow !!

Eveyone here is in a panic, go figure when I was a kid and we used to get alot more snow here , this was'nt even considered a snow storm , and now living in the land of 4wd truck's and SUV's everyone freak's out and already start's cancelling thursday's activities.

The media hype is probablt what freaks people out, BUT for my self when they give the warning's I hit the road's & trail's

We're once again supossed to get a big snow but we've seen nothing more than 5" accumulation a handful of times right here at the base of the Rockies and at 6000ft asl and I've used 4wd once all year.

I'd like one blizzard a year and our '03 one where we got 41" in SW Littleton was a fun one but I don't think we've had 41" of snow in Denver since.
Our mountains are getting packed with a couple of ski resorts reporting near 400" bases.

It turned out to be a real dud !! Not much at all and nothing like predicted......was'nt even fun or even covered the road's......

Ef all you guys, NJ can't buy efing snow this year with the exception of that one storm.

It looks like we could get real snow with up to 12" predicted for Denver by Monday but we'll see.

My doubts of the snow accumulation were right as we barely got a few inches (4" would be a high guess) but the roads are messy and slick but not even close to the storm they were predicting.

Not even CLOSE. I'm very disappointed, I had visions of having the day off, and taking the 4Runner out to have some fun in the middle of nowhere. Now? I'm sitting here at the office :dammit:
