WOOX Sub in '04 Runner?

First of all, I want to thank everyone on this forum for great advice regarding the SCION HU...I got one from EBay and it has made a huge difference. I would have had no idea about this mod if I had not read it here. I have another question now about installing a sub...

It is very important that I keep my cargo area clear (I am always moving things, etc) but I would love to get a little more bass in the truck. I have read about the possibility of installing a Kenwood WOOX under the passenger seat. I was wondering if anybody has actually done this (is it even possible) and how it sounds (I don't need to wake the neighbors, just a little more bang). Has annybody gone this route?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated...

Ive asked a few different installers about the WOOX and they said its not really worth it. It bottoms out easily depending on your system. If you have gone aftermarket with your stereo then I would not install the WOOX. Q-logic makes a box that fits right in the cargo area. I mated one with an ALPINE sub and it sounds really tight but my entire system is aftermarket. But all in all, the Q-logic box with a sub and amp is the way to go. Check out www.crutchfield.com for more info. Ive even seen the boxes on eBay in good shape for sale with a sub for less that $150.00.

what speakers?

If you're not running decent component speakers up front you would be amazed at the bass. I know I was!!
I got Polks 6.5 components when I put in my Scion head unit. I wanted 6x9 but the installer I trust said they aren't any better and the bass is tighter on the 6.5's.
Well was I stunned at the bass those little things put out!! not anything to compare with subs of course, but if you just want a nice well rounded sound you could do a lot worse.
I paid $200 for the speaks.
