i am hoping to install a lift at some point in april and thought it might be a good time to do some other work while she's up in the air.

are there any recommended maintenance items i should take care of while things are taken apart?

i already grease up the drive line twice a year so anything else??:thanks:

Maybe an extended diff breather if you intend to splash through water like in your profile picture. Other then that, nothing I can think of.

It's a good time to do lower ball joints and possibly tie rod ends too. The lower ball joints unfortunately have been known to fail sometimes catastrophically after ~10 years/150K+. Lifting it will put additional stress on them so I would change those out now since they can be weakened but still look ok. Inspect your tie rods for play or damage and replace as necessary.

thanks for the replies.

thankfully the diff breather was done before the water pics
my ball joints were replaced under recall 40k ago so those should be good. but i'll check them since i'll be right there
i'll definitely check the tie rods and replace the fuel filter
and diff case fluids will be added to the list.
