worth it? or trouble?

surfing the web for lifts for my sr5, came across this, says it will keep the factory ride with the lift, seems to good to be true, anyone running these on their t4r?

depends on what you are lifting your truck for. The daystar goes on top of the coil so no need to disassemble, which makes it easy. But you don't get any added bonus except ground clearance. A true lift kit will give you more benefits and work better off-road.

FWIW I did the Toytec top plate spacer lift (front only).

I'm happy with the leveling aspect of it. If you don't need a lift I think the spacers are a good solution.

For us novices, what would the benefits be? I have a 2WD and would like to do a lift/level eventually and am new to altering my trucks. It would be more for looks than serious offroading. I keep going back and forth between the Toytec and Daystar spacer kits because after reading lots of these posts spacers seem to be the way for me to go. What are your thoughts/opinions? You are 1 of the guys on here who seem to really know their stuff so your help is valued.

I thank you for the compliment, but I don't know very much. What I have learned came from forums and modding other cars.

But if you are just looking for lift for the looks the daystar is the way to go. Its going to be the easiest to install and wont change the ride of your 4runner. The toytec spacers you would need to disassemble the front coils, which can be a pain. So my vote for you would be the Daystar.

What is the difference between the 4pc and the 6pc? I looked at the Daystar site, which doesnt even list 2010 4Runners, and the site mentioned above and could only find the 4pc.

I also dont have the 4x4, but i do hit up trails in my local area, so no serious offroading, i do like the clearance cause id like to get larger more aggressive looking tires, pretty excited about this right now!
