Would this idea be worth it?

Ok, so I tried to look everywhere on internet for push bars and grille guards for my 1995 T4R, but never had any luck. So I had this idea. What if I buy a push bar or grille guard that was made for newer models, and I'll have my dad to make custom brackets. My dad is a welder, and can make anything with metals.

For example, I could buy this (WESTIN® - Ultimate Bull Bar - 2008 Toyota 4Runner Bull Bar), and have my dad to make our own brackets to make it fit onto my truck. Any opinions on my idea?

i think if your dad can make anything with metals... just have him/ help him build you a nice bumper. those push bars are ugly and granted they are lighter, just get a decent bumper. they are better

Well, I have thought about that, and drew up a couple of drawings. But could not figure how to draw/build one that will make my T4R look a badass haha.

Oh, I'm planning on to!!! I also will make roof rack, hitch, cargo hitch. I forgot what else I'm planning on making, but once I get the materials and things get started, I'll make another thread all about making these. I think i'll start working on it next month. any other ideas on what I should make?
