would you like a green 4runner?

I think that Toyota should offer a green 4runner again. Like the 3rd gens. Why don't they have a green one now? A nice dark green metallic or mica would look nice. Would you consider purchasing your 4runner in green if you had the option?

While I love my silver '05, I really would have considered getting a green-colored one if they had offered it. They sell green Highlanders and they look great!

Car colors seem to go through strange cycles sometimes. I remember when I was a kid my father had a 72 Chevy pick-up that was dark green. I guess it was a pretty popular color back then because I saw the same color on many different vehicles.

The popularity of green faded big time in the 80's and I don't think many car manufacturers offered green paint on their vehicles. But remember how popular green became again about 10 years ago? It seemed like every other car on the road was some shade of green!

I got so sick of seeing green cars that I wouldn't buy a 4Runner in green if they offered it. I really like what Jeep is doing with the colors on the Commander and their other SUVs. The brown and grey shades of their paints look excellent.

I would consider a nice, classy, dark green, such as hunter green. The Sequoia comes in Timberland Mica - that's a nice color. I had a 94 4Runner in Evergreen Pearl.

Colors tend to go in and out of style, so that's probably why they've stayed away from it. No matter what the car, the consistent sellers are white, black, and silver. Other colors like blue, red, green, and gold seem to be secondary, and it's hard for manufacturers to predict exactly what shades of those colors will work.

I have to admit that since Toyota came out with the Shadow Mica color on the 4Runner and other models, I've really liked that. Otherwise, I'm with you on green or else darker red colors such as the Salsa Red. I've never been big on white, black, or blue at all, and I think silver depends on the car. The right shade of tan/gold is a possibility, but again it would depend on the car.

I would love to see a green 4runner but it would have to be a cool green, not that plain forest green.

Back in the day when the 4runner first came out in 03 they had that a dark green with the grayish black cladding. They removed the cladding a few months later and I remember seeing a green 4Runner without the cladding. It did not look good at all. With the cladding it was a cool contrast in colors but without it just looked fugly. I think that is why they don't have green 4Runners anymore.

THAT, is a wicked ass color. Not too wild for a chameleon paint, yet has a dramatic effect in the sunlight. Awesome color.

Green is nice, but it does have to be a certain shade and hue depending on the body style. John Deere Green aint gonna cut it, and a flat forrest green wouldnt do it either. It would have to have some sort of metallic in it, with a possible color shift mixed in to highlight style lines more and give it some depth.

My 96 Ram is actually Moss Green Pearl Metallic, and it's an awesome color on the Ram with alot of depth. Dont think it would work on a 4Runner though.....

Personally I think green colored 4Runners look good, especially when seen in green environments (not many here in the desert of AZ where I live.), such as in the mountains of Colorodo.

Green is the color of money and I always like to see more of that color anywhere.
