I'm starting to really want the Limited w/3rd row. The look is growing on me.

I saw a new gx-460 the other day and it looked amazing. I just won't spend that much.

well i would say a well cared for used 2010 10k limited with an extra 5k in my pocket... but those arnt there yet,
so go to ur lexus dealer then ur toyota dealer back to back (or see if ur toyota dealer has a used lexus on site) and check them both out, theyre different, one will appeal more than the other

I never really liked the styling of the GX, but the new one is a step in the right direction. It looks better than last year's model. If I had to choose between a 2010 Limited 4Runner and an older GX, that would be a really tough call. I'd probably just opt out entirely or just splurge the extra money on the new GX instead.

No question. Limited. I took a look at both of them and like the design/interior on the limited much more.

The best feature is the slide out cargo tray. I haul lots of equipment all the time for work and loading the 4runner is so easy!

I don't think a new 2010 Limited is a slam dunk vs a pre-owned SUV.

Lots of really nice pre-owned SUVs in that price range.

good point it comes with the 4.6 V-8. but how would it scale on a fun factor?

It's not on the list, but I'll take a pre-owned 4th gen over the 5th and GX470.

Fun to drive - not fun to pay for is my take on it.

I would seriously have considered it if the purchase wasn't due to a totaled car and we had to have something ASAP......

Which makes me wonder why dealers don't offer short term leases if you buy a future model....

We considered the GX 460. I have owned 3 Lexus in the past, but I do not see the extra $20K in the GX. It does have a higher quality leather, and the nav screen is better. I didn't test drive the GX, but assume the ride quality is quieter and smoother. I think the 4Runner looks better on the outside though and it has all the gadgets I need.
