I wanted to get the new GY Fortera's but the first round of tires they are producing they are not making my size. Man I'm stuck on what to do...wait for the GY's or spend money I don't really have for the Revo's before the rebate is gone and the prices go up????
BTW I have to order them by Thursday because for the rebate they need to be INSTALLED before May 5th.

Shit, I just ordered these from tirerack for 790.81 shipped. That was for 5. I am going to have to look in to these.

Shit, Shit, Shit. I just called I could have had 5 shipped to my door for 704.00. That is a $90 difference. They have already been shipped. So I would have to pay the 100 bucks for shipping. DAMN.

Well I can tell you that road hazard alone will be $15/tire and you have tire disposal fee per tire AND installation which I am sure will add up to at least $114. Plus Costco does free tire rotations and flat fixes for the life of the tire. Also, not that it matters much, but I also don't have to load up the tires to bring them somewhere. I don't think Costco can be beat.

Mount and road force balance is 17.00 a tire and 1.00 disposal fee per tire=$90. So that is a total cost under the tire access price of 122.95 for 5 tires minus the 75.00 rebate= $629.75 for 5 Revo tires mounted and balanced. Man you can't beat that deal. WOW

Then he made it a point to say that there was a $75 rebate in addition thus totaling $650. You're right about the road hazard and disposal though. That's not accounted for. However, if what I hear is true about Costco and they won't give me the 265/70-17, this is by far the best route to take.

BStboy I also called that is exactly what they told me. It would be 84 dollars to ship out. Who ever gets the road hazard? BTW boxers suck, get a real dog like a german shepherd. Best damn dog known to man.

I feel your pain. I went to Costco yesterday and said I needed to buy a set of Revo 265/70s. The guy started ringing it up and he asked what kind of vehicle I had. I said an 05 4runner. He then scratched his head and said that the computer said it needed 265/65s.
I played dumb and said that the sport version would take the 70s. He told me that he would only put them on if I had a letter from the dealer saying that it was ok. Bummer.
Best price I have found around town is ~$700 for a set of 4 installed.

Neither place would install it so I installed them myself at my bro-in-law's shop. Came out to $591 - $75 MIR. I just bought another one for the spare for $148 after taxes. It fits in the spare wheel well perfectly with a little room to spare.
