wrecked my 4R!

got in my first accident in my 4runner yesterday didn't see a guy coming down the road I was turning onto, and got t-boned. he hit me on the drivers side back door, and hit with enough force to lift the back tires off the road and spin me about 90

yes, everyone was fine, thank you. I'm just worried that I'm going to start "noticing" a bunch of things wrong with my truck now since the wreck! I don't want to have to buy a new one before the next generation comes out!

Sorry to hear that , glad you are ok.

I'm to the point that ( in snow ) if I'm driving on a rural road or the freeway ( no stop & go driving ) I will keep the VSC on otherwise I drive with it off and diff. locked when urban/city driving in snow.

I've almost got hit 2x this past week because of it , basically same situation. What a awesome "safety" feature. It has it's purpose I guess.

here are a few shots of the damage taken with my phone, so the quality isn't all that great.

as soon as the insurance guy left my house, i broke out the bug and tar remover and rubbed most of the paint transfer off of my truck. these are taken after that. it really doesn't look that bad, which is a good thing, cause christmas is coming up, and there isn't an extra $500 laying around to cover my deductible!!
