Wrong-way trucker causes highway crash

I think this is a rare one. Recent news from yesterday.

You hear once in awhile about cars getting into the wrong flow of traffic. In this case a trucker kept driving in the wrong lanes after going through the grass median on a major highway in southwestern Ontario. It was early morning so I speculate he fell asleep behind the wheel. He actually came out the other side of the ditch instead of crashing. He could have killed the guy in the car he hit.
Why would the dumb@$$ keep driving? Pull over or at least drive slow on the shoulder.

I have seen many cars drive the wrong way on the hwy. Had to face one too once going home on I-88, not a good feeling. The driver was stopped by the police and charged with dui. Dude was really wasted.

It's hard to speculate as to what happened, maybe he fell asleep (very much possible), got sick, or something else, good thing nobody got hurt.

One day I was coming from dropping a friend to the ariport and it was very early on a saturday morning.... I saw this very old man driving on the opposite side on a One Way bridge..thanks GOD the bridge has 4 lanes and he was comming 2 lanes to my left on the opposite direction..good thing no one but me was on the bridge at that very moment . I tried to catch his attention with no succes....he kept going. I hope He realized on time he was going the wrong way......

This past Sunday, I was on a one way street that had 3 lanes. I was in the middle (left turn) lane waiting for the light. This brawd coming off the street I was waiting to make a left onto, makes a left turn right next to me into the first left turn lane going the opposite way. I look at her with a :wtf: and she looks back me as if I'm the one who's confused. She continues down another 100-150' to enter into the gas station's driveway. Lucky for her, there was no other traffic coming behind me. I was waiting for another car to honk at her stupidity.
