I was hoping to find a good set of used 4th gen headlights to do my own black out, but haven't had any luck. If anybody is looking to sell theirs let me know. Thanks.

You can find them pretty cheap on ebay. I have been looking for some as well. Think I will just take the ebay route.

yeah, there are a ton of them on ebay, but after reading some threads on some of those i am a little hesitant to go that route. I had sent Jason Burtman an email asking a question about his, but never received a response, so that probably won't be the route i go either. I am sure there are some legit buys on ebay, but have been burned before on aftermarket pieces.
 
I bought a set from Burtman awhile back and I should of saved my money. Beam pattern sucks, the rubber seal on the outside has come off, and the clear coating has peeled/cracked after a year. You get what you pay for basically.

I am glad you posted this.....this is exactly what i have been worried about with aftermarket pieces. Was there any communication with Burtman about the issues?

I never did complain because for the price I got them I couldn't. Plus I figured he couldn't do anything since a year had passed with those things happening to the lights. So yeah best bet would be to buy OEM lights and do the BHLM yourself. I have yet to do mine.:D
 
Hey guys! I have a good friend currently living in San Antonio, Tx (45 mind away) that does his own custom fixing. He is very good at what he does to the headlights. I have had numerous vehicles with any color background finish, HID, Xenon, LED, etc headlights. This is all he does to support his family. I have had my Honda 3 yrs now with the blackout headlights installed, still looking nice.
