I had a 5th gen that I sold to get a truck and am regretting my decision and would like to get back into a 4runner.
Due to towing and recent life changes, the V8 4th gen seems to check all the boxes. Below are my requirements as well as "want to have items"
- V8 4wd is a hard requirement.
- 06-09 is strongly preferred as I like some of the changes made with the refresh.
- Limited Trim is strongly preferred. Sport may be an option for the right one but my wife wants leather and it seems most have cloth so it would have to be added.
- Silver, white or gray would be the preferred colors.
- Stock, or mostly stock preferred. Very mild mods may be considered. This will be a DD and any offroad use will be dirt roads/fire roads, ext.
- Will pay a premium for lower mileage. I don't have a hard cap on the acceptable mileage but under 100 or 150K would be ideal.
- Strongly prefer something that has seen minimal salt. I Will not consider anything with major/substantial rust.
- Service records/service history strongly preferred.
- I'm in NC and something semi-close would be ideal but willing to travel for the perfect one.
- Budget is flexible and cash in hand, willing to pay for the right one.
- Not in a hurry.
