If your willing to travel 300 miles, why not go further?
I flew to Minn. to get my 67 Impala. Drove it back to Orlando.
I took the bus to Charolette to get my Son's El Camino. Drove it back to Orlando.
I took the bus to Atlanta to get my T100. Drove it back to Orlando.
Don't let milage discourage a good deal. On the Impala, since it was a classic and a lot more money, I paid a local appraiser to check the car out first.
If after all that, and it is not what you expected, you don't have to fork over the $$$. You would just be out the plane fare and appraisal, if any. But that is better than not getting exactly what you want.

You should check out autotrader.com because they have a lot of 4runners on there. Just search any distance and you can specify the options you want. Good luck.

Only took me 3+ months to find exactly what I was looking for. Search craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, and ebay motors and you'll get what you're looking for. There ARE deals to be had out there, you just have to have patience and a little luck doesn't hurt.
