WTB: 2000-2002 4runner

Hey all, I'm new to the forum. I had a 2000 4Runner limited but sold it a few months back to buy a new truck. I'm now selling the new truck and going back LOL.

I've been keeping an eye on Craigslist, Autotrader and eBay for the last few weeks without much luck. I'm in southeast Michigan, so Toyota isn't as poplar as it is in other parts of the country. I went to Maine this past weekend with family and every other vehicle on the road was Toyota. I looked at a few while I was out that way but came back empty handed after looking the trucks over in person.

I'm after a 2000-2002 4X4 Limited or SR5 with leather in silver, white, black or gray. I will not buy red, green, blue or gold. I would like lower miles, something around 150K, nothing over 200K. I have cash and my budget is $6-7K. I will travel just about anywhere in the country for the truck that I want. If it were out west, I'd consider shipping it as a last resort. I'm in no hurry, I haven't sold my truck yet anyhow. Maintenance history and care is key to me, I ask plenty of questions before looking in person. I'd like to find one with minimal rust, I know they're out there. The 02 I looked at in NH this past weekend was very clean for being in the salt belt.

bump. im in the same boat. San Diego is hard to come by a clean 4x4. I expanded the search radius on autotrader to anywhere and came up with a few more results. all based around the 1500 mile away radius, but found one that will actually ship so its possible. best of luck.
