I'm presently in Colorado and in the market for a 1996-2000 4Runner with the following criteria:

  • Must be 4x4.
  • Must have a manual transmission.
  • Prefer a '99 or '00, but any clean 3G will fit the bill.
  • Prefer mileage < 135K, but would consider more for a one owner vehicle with a fully documented service history.
  • Prefer stock or minimal mods; I don't want a rock crawler.
  • Must come from non-smoking owner.
  • Don't really care about colors/options, but REALLY prefer locking diff.

Willing to travel and would prefer to have to go less than 1,000 miles. Shoot me a PM or e-mail and lemme know what you've got.

I'm thinking about selling my 2000 4runner, but still undecided. It has 172K and locking diff. with maintenance history with Toyota dealerships.

My initial thought is too many miles for my taste, but would possibly make an exception for something unbelievably clean and up to date. Should you decide to sell, feel free to PM/e-mail me with all the gory details

I have a 2000 4x4 Limited I'm selling with 79k miles on it. It has all of your requirements, minimal mods, however it has an automatic transmission, if that's a deal breaker..

I live in Iowa, shoot me a message if you're interested, I'm looking to get rid of it quickly.
 
I have a ultra low mileage sr5 manual transmission 4x4 3rd gen 4Runner SUV. If you know this car you'll know that the 5-speed V6s are rare. It is also a 4wd with the rare electronic e-locker rear end which makes it super special and very capable off road. It has under 79,xxx original miles and is in emaculate condition. I have some extras such as the sport hood, 99 springs (one inch taller) and TRD BBS RW 18x9 +10offset wheels. All these rare OEM options on a low mileage chassis makes this an awesome find. This 4Runner even has MP3 and wma capability aswell as being able to play DVDs. The airconditioning blows ice cold and the manual transmission is a blast to drive. I LOVE this SUV but I've collected too many car and since I don't have time to go up to the snow anymore there's really no reason to own it. I'm just too busy to play with it to make it worth it to keep. Hopefully the buyer could put it to good use and love this truck as much as I have. A truck with such low miles needs to stretch her legs and play... I only get to drive her once a week sundays. Brand new 275/65/17 all terrains have just been installed on the BBS wheels and the truck has just had ALL fluids changed so she's ready to go. Absolutely no rust. $13,000

Unfortunately I am simply not willing to settle for a slushbox. I've only ever owned one automatic transmission vehicle in my life and I got rid of it within 6 months.

  3. You're about $4K over my budget.

Seriously, that is prolly the nicest truck I've seen. However for my needs it is simply too nice (never thought I'd say that). If nothing else, thanks for sharing info on what is surely a wonderful machine.
