WTB: 3rd Gen 4Runner - 5spd SR5

Looking to buy 3rd Gen 4Runner
MY 1999 or 2000
5 speed manual transmission

Located in Northern VA... will travel for a clean and well cared for 4Runner. Looking for something as close to stock as possible (no need for a rock climber).

Highlander models a plus...
Looking to avoid vehicles from the rust belt.

2wd or 4wd v6 or 4cyl

Cali has lots of 2wd Runners.

Limiteds do not have 5 speeds- so your trim level is reduced somewhat.

Best of luck finding yours. They are out there-err out here probably....

Hey Ron...

Definitely V6, 4WD...

They are out there... I've looked at a few, but just haven't found "the one." Either too much rust or the mileage is too high (saw a nice one with 155k... but the guys almost wanted $10k for it, it was just too much).

Price is always negotiable... looking to spend about $8k... guessing it'll be more around $10k.

Gonna look over the next few weeks and see what happens...

don't underestimate Yota Tech

try Yota Tech and don't be afraid to post in the main Tech section-the mods will just move you if they feel it should be in classifieds.
