Looking to buy a 3rd gen 4runner (would prefer year 99-02). I have been searching craigslist with not a whole lot of luck and wanting to see if anyone here was looking to sell or had any leads.
Milage does not really matter to me as long as it is running good. Although I would prefer under 250k.
Main criteria:
- NO rust. (slight surface rust on frame is fine but nothing more)
- prefer 99-02
- has to be 4 wheel drive
- do not want white color (prefer green or black) but will take almost any color
- nothing that has been abused or has problems
I am from Minneapolis Minnesota and realize I will mostly likely have to travel to find one without rust. I am willing to drive up to 10 hours or possibly fly for the right one. However my budget is around 5k give or take some depending on the vehicle. Would also prefer stock since I already have tires and rims and suspension bought. Just let me know if you have anything or know of anyone looking to sell!
