WTB 4th Gen V8 Toyota 4Runner in Oregon

Hi guys,


I just missed an amazing V8 runner for sale 3 miles from my house so I wanted to see if there were any for sale here. Let me know if this post doesn't belong in this section of the forums but I've seen a few WTB posts, so here we go:

Description

I'm looking for a well maintained 130k-ish mile 4th Gen V8 4runner that has not been abused on the trails, not used for towing, clean titled (no incidents or accidents), no frame rust and without any mechanical issues. Higher miles may be considered if the majority are highway miles.

Limited Trim is preferred, maintenance done on time (with proof), 1-2 owners. All features of the car should function as intended (Heat blows hot, AC blows cold, H4 + 4L actuator engages etc).

I am not in a hurry to buy but I am willing to travel for the right one. It would be nice to purchase one from a forum member as you are more likely to care for your car better than the average person. The car can be anywhere on the West Coast - Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho.

What you’re looking for is a unicorn at this point. You should probably be prepared to spend $16-$20k for the kind of vehicle you are looking for.

I know the feeling. I missed out on one in Florida months ago for a great deal. Just wasn’t crazy about a 12 hour layover flight and 39 hour drive so I dragged my feet on it and lost out. Kinda wishing I had just done it because I haven’t seen a deal like it since and I check every day. It’s exhausting.

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" - Some Hockey Player. You may completely be right and when I get my eyes/heart set on something I keep trying for it as I hate to give up so easily.

Just in the past 2.5 weeks I saw a low 100k mile bone stock one 3 miles from my house UNDER PRICED, the post was only live for 3 hours and it sold. Just YESTERDAY one popped up across town, low miles, minimal modifications and a decent price and it went like a hot cake.

I definitely need to be quicker but those two anomalies are giving me hope!

2007 Toyota 4Runner Limited (v8)
96,700 miles
4.7L v8 engine
Galactic Gray Metallic (best Toyota color EVER)
Low mileage Bridgestone KO2 tires on KMC XD Misfit wheels
Heated leather seats. (New leather on driver’s seat)
Dual zone climate control
New pioneer AVIC 8400NEX head unit with Bluetooth, navigation, reverse camera
Canvasback cargo liner.
Excellent condition. All recent service done by Toyota dealer, including:
• Timing belt replaced
• Water pump and drive belts replaced
• New battery
• AC recharge
• New windshield
• Toytec Boss lift kit with aftermarket upper control arms
• Replaced OEM lower control arms
• New spark plugs
• New brake pads and rotors
• Radiator, differential and transmission flushed
• Throttle body cleaned
You don’t need to do anything to this vehicle. This is my wife's vehicle - never off-roaded (only forrest service roads etc.)

I live in Colorado, own a 2007 4runner Limited v8 with 133k miles no mechanical issues besides needing brakes soon. It has been to Moab once but on stock Michelin treads so I didn't go crazy.

Cooper at3 4s tires 5 (full size spare) on vision rocker wheels
KC LZR ditch lights with cbi mounting brackets
Rola roof rack with extention and 4x innovations mounting hardware (though I may sell this and buy a Gobi).
I change my own oil with full synthetic every 5k miles

Any flexibility on engine type? I am selling my V6. It's pretty stock but in phenomenal shape.

Specs:

2004 4WD SR5 - silver - automatic - V6 - clean title - 2 owners, all maintenance records, entirely in Portland - great condition - has running boards (not installed) - stereo/Bluetooth- moonroof - tow package

odometer: 172k mi

I'm out of town, but it's stored at a friend's shop in Vancouver, WA who would be happy to show it.

Sorry guys, I went camping for a couple of weeks. My T4R essentially sold on the first day that i listed it (the listing was on CL for less than 24 hours). There was some back and forth, but based on the responses i got within 12 hours of listing, i underpriced it at $17k
