WTB: clean 2nd/3rd Gen 4x4 5spd

Hello All,

I'm going to give this a try. I'm looking for a clean, well maintained T4R.

1993-1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5
5-speed Manual
Recent major service
Locker would be nice but not necessary
Clean inside and out no leaks, dings or faded paint (I'm almost looking for a garage queen)
Under 200k (2nd Gen) or 150k (3rd gen) miles or lower the better
Ready to buy
Prefer bone stock (upgraded tire/wheels, shocks and entertainment system are fine)
T4R is located in CA (is a plus)

1995 Black/

I have a 1995 black and tan limited manual with 158K miles, original owner, I bought in norcal in 1995 (live in socal now) and it has been garaged at all times. No accidents, original paint except front hood was repainted when keyed in parking lot 15 years ago. No dents, no dings (had ding guy out a few years ago) that I recall (maybe on wheel well trim from other car doors). All records since day one, all original except speakers (OEM fit) and shocks. Everything works, head and head gasket replaced a while back, all major service done, etc. Anyway, I have had quite a few folks asking me about selling but have held on to it, wife is pressing to sell. Passed smog easily last June, really no issues that I am aware of other than maybe a drip of oil from time to time below (had valve cover gaskets replaced last year though). I wanted to post a "what is it worth" thread as I have not looked at the market for years, but I can't since just registered here. It is honestly a super clean original owner vehicle that has been well-cared for and not abused. I will probably regret selling but it is what it is. Thanks!

Trying to get feedback from the forum on value but I am not able to start a new thread. I honestly doubt that there is a cleaner one owner fully-papered gen 2 out there, even with less miles (I saw one posted in the forum with 3X,XXX miles). Always garaged, lexol on leather, 303 on plastic and zaino multi stage on paint by me, vehicle fanatic.

95ForRun - beautiful looking cream-puff, of an original T4R.

I bought a similar 2000 4Runner SR5, 3.4L-v6-auto, loaded with 129,600 Km = low 80,500 miles.
- senior 1 owner / rust free SUV, always garaged
- original paint & finish in perfect condition
- interior also next to perfect
- dealer installed new timing belt, water pump, OEM radiator & BFG tires / 12,000 miles ago

Used car dealer/friend, had some coin in the safety check / vehicle passed E-test:
- new Moog front end parts
- walker muffler
- rear axle seals replaced, along with Koyo bearings (Japan), ABS ring gears plus premium brake pads

I purchased my 2000 last month, for $9,000 Canadian (our dollar is now trading at 69 cents US) / got a real good deal IMO.
- I'd say your 1995 is worth ~$8 to $10K tops (2nd Gen)...Gen3 & ideally 1999-2000, bring more $$

For that beautiful 2nd gen up above I'd offer 5500-6000k. There's been some 5 speed third gens in my area with low miles(one had 89xxx mile) and they were asking $7000-$9500. I paid $4500 for my 5 speed with 187xxx miles.

You put this symbol @ in front of their screen name and with no spaces unless there is a space in their screen name. Also if you get that 2nd gen you're gonna need a build thread cuz I wanna see more of it. If I didn't have 4 3rd gens I'd be heading out there to get that.

No problem. when you click reply you put the @ symbol in front of their screen name. My example is this [MENTION=10856]FISH HUNTER[/MENTION]. When you mention someone it is typed exactly like how I did your screen name. And for the build I suggest keeping it mild and clean maybe a mild lift and slightly oversized tires but mainly keeping it look stock and clean.
