I have a 95 4runner with OME springs and 1.5 ball joint lift and only 120K that lost the engine. It wasnt from an overheating issue either. The crank broke on the highway and split the block right down the middle. The body is in great shape so Im a little torn on what to do. If I can find a good deal on a 3.0 and drop that in, that would be the simplest option. I could also use a 3.4 and go with a swap. Of course I could also sell the body to someone that might have more time than me to put an engine in.
If you have an engine for sale please let me know how much, where you are located and the milage. If you are interested in the body, I would like to get 1000 for it. It is rust free and looks great, the lift is brand new and it sits on 33 inch BFG tires that have less than 500 miles on them. The new tires and lift cost just under 1000 so you would almost be getting the body for free. I am located in St Louis MO. Thanks in advance.
