I will have one for sale within the next few weeks, maybe a month max, off of my 2009 SR5 V6, as soon as I order and receive a full frame hitch, if you haven't found one by then.
The take-off one is factory, looks like it's held on with 4 bolts, as near as I can see. I happened to notice your ad here. I will be posting mine for sale here once off the vehicle anyway, so thought I would let you know about it beforehand.

If you're interested, I have a Curt hitch (13445) I had on my 06 4runner for less than a year. I actually just put on a factory hitch. Wish I had known you were getting rid of yours. We could have traded. I only used the Curt hitch for my bike rack. Let me know if you're interested.

I found your Curt hitch on the web. A couple of questions -- I'm curious why you would bother to remove the Curt hitch, once installed, to install the factory hitch? Even though the factory hitch may be adequate for your needs, why would you bother to change out the Curt hitch when it was already installed? What were you dissatisfied with about it?
Looking at pics of the Curt hitch, does it bolt to the frame member just above the receiver or not? In the pics, I can't see any bolt holes at that point.
Where do you live and how much did you want for your Curt hitch?

My 4runner did not have a hitch on it originally and came with the bumper w/o the hitch cutout. Because it didn't have the hitch cutout, I put on the Curt hitch because of the lack of any modifications needed. Worked fine, but I prefer the clean factory look to the aftermarket look. So when my rear bumper was damaged and needed to be replaced, I replaced it with the factory bumper with the hitch cutout and installed the factory hitch.
No valid reason for switching the hitch other than aesthetics. And again, that's just personal taste.
As far as the Curt hitch goes, bolts to the frame on each side of the spare tire. Holes I believe are already predrilled on frame. Just bolts on. There's a Curt hitch string on the Accessories page that shows a pic of one installed on a 4runner. Mine looked identical, except that I removed the Curt decal so it is solid black.
I live in Louisiana and was selling for $100 for pick up only. I guess that I can ship it, but I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship. That might change the price somewhat depending on how much it would cost. It's pretty heavy and bulky. I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for the explanation! It all makes perfect sense now! Thanks for the offer on your Curt hitch, but what I decided I really want is a hitch that also attaches at the center to the crossmember. As far as I can find out from my research, none of the currently produced hitches attach there. The Hidden Hitch 70411 did, but unfortunately, it has been out of production for awhile. I am first going to try to locate one of those, and if I can't find that, I will probably try to modify one of the currently produced hitches with an additional attachment to the center crossmember.
