looking for the fan hub assembly on 94 v6 engine. This is the part that attaches the fan pulley to the engine and holds the timing belt tensioner. unless anyone knows of a rebuild kit.

I have a complete 3.0L with a bad head gasket. I should be able to get the part off on Wednesday. It's my next day off to work on it.

I started pulling parts off the engine today like the throttle body, upper intake, etc.

I'll get a picture of my part and post it here for you.

Thanks, rusky. the motor is a 94. the earlier motors are different, its a matter the timing belt tensioner placement. if you need more pics let me know.

You shave the housing down and remove the pulley and you get smaller belt's. I have done it before, i will look for a write up

ok, youve sparked my interest, you probably have forgotten more than ill ever learn about these 4runners, I like the room, hate the lack of power and gas mileage sucks.

If you do this, you will get more power and better gas mileage now i just got to find the write up.

rusty, that will work, let me know the price, the ride, and the condition. 4runnerkid, I still want to learn about shaving the housing. Mabey in the future but now itws not cost effictive. Im planning on keeping the runner for a while, its only got 100k miles.
