WTB 06-07 JBL 6CD in-dash HU

Looking for a great condition JBL 6CD HU from 2006-2007 4R. I decided to not got with OEM nav, upgrade sound system and get a Garmin Nuvi for the dash.

How easy is it to connect aftermarket amp and speakers to JBL HU?

I am switching to JBL b/c I understand it is digital opposed to the standard system

Is this correct?

I also want a stock look so I really dont want an aftermarket HU.

I wanted to you thank you for your extremely fast replies.

Lastly, how much is a decent system installed meaning amp, speakers and sub. Nothing over the top but something that I can rock out to?

Thanks again

Looking for a new/used OEM navigation for 4runner. Prefer orange back light but green is fine as well. Looking for Nav unit, disc, backup camera if you have it and steering wheel controls.

Looking to pay no more than 1k cash.

Let me know.

Thanks

JBL sub and amp would be amazing!

You have to tell us if you have the JBL or non-JBL stereo in your 4Runner. I have non-JBL and installed a Camry navigation (green backlighting), but if I had JBL, I would have had to get a Solara navigation system.

Unfortunately, I sold my OEM navigation already, but if you need the amp, I still have it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Its Non-JBL

Here are my questions?

What would be required being that it is non-JBL?

If I were to put the JBL amp in, can I keep the stock speakers for now?

How much for this all to be professionally installed?

Thanks

Will

Non-JBL 4Runners need a Camry navigation system to work properly. Keep in mind that the early 4th generation 4Runners came with a 2-piece navigation system available only on the Limited. The easiest way to put OEM navigation systems in the Sport Edition or SR5 was to buy an all-in-one unit from a Camry or Solara.

Also, if you are non-JBL, your best bet is to get the small amp (its just plug-n-play) designed to use with the navigation system. The stock speakers will work just fine. Keep in mind that the OEM navigation system does not have a built-in amp, so that's why it requires the external amp.l

I don't know how much it would cost to have it all professionally installed. I did my installation myself. If you decide to go for it and need the amp, I'll give you a great deal on mine. I don't need it anymore...
