96-02 rear bumpers are all the same, make sure you pick the primed one if yours is color keyed or the chrome one if you have chrome. It is also 3 individual sections. You may need brackets too.

thanks for the help johnsd90, was kinda hoping to find something cheap. I can get a new one from the dealership for $135. Im hoping to be able to re-use the brackets. The only reason im replacing my bumper is beacuse im sick of all the rust and bubbling paint building it. i went to check and see how bad it was yesterday and my foot went through the bumper :jaw drop:

What color are you looking for? I have a Black 2000 4runner Sport, so the rear bumper is all black. It is in good conditon with only minor wear, I have plans to build a steel rear bumper for it so I will eventually sell it. I have not started or even bought materials for the rear bumper but I will consider selling it now if you are interested. I would sell the whole thing, the bumper and side bumpers and the plastic piece on top too.

I will try and get some pics up on here, and nope I will be keeping the fender flares.

Use car-part.com and find one at a salvage yard in your area.
I was going to go the ebay route but I got a complete OEM bumper with all brackets and hardware for $200.
The best part was the salvage yard was only 30 min from my home so I got to inspect the parts before buying
