Does the model year matter? I can't help you w/the wiring harness, but I know where I can pick up a 1996 SR5 4x4 5-Speed ECU locally for $35.

Ya matt! ahah I picked a 95 Yota up from a tow yard, and looks like somebody through a swap in it and didnt finish. Its a 4x4 manual with a 3.4 v6. but for some reason has an automatic engine wiring harness so the computer shuts the engine down after running for about two seconds!

Thanks man but i really need the harness itself. I think it just has to be from a 4x4 5-speed.

Have you tried tripping the neutral safety switch on the ecu? Thats what people who swap in manual tranny's do to get it to work. Pretty much just makes the motor think the tranny is in neutral all the time, and lets it work like normal. Might save you some money, just a thought. Good luck though!

Matt i didnt mention that its the taco. But idk if that matters. I would do that but it wouldnt work because the plugs from automatic dont fit into the M/T ecu slots even!
