wtf? No rebates this month?

I was waiting, hoping, to get a new T4R at the end of March (to celebrate my girlfriend getting a new job) and they kill me by withdrawing the incentives. Anyone think they will give them back in a day or two? I heard the Japanese fiscal year ends in April so maybe the dealers will be inclined to dump inventory (on me for cheap :lmao: :lmao: )

I guess i'm going to have to look at used too.

End of March is the end of the 2nd quarter, I bet something will come up!!!
I bought mine at the end of the 4th quarter and got about 6k off. Plus the 06 models were starting to show up at that time.

Most dealers in my area are still advertising new 2006's. I wonder how desperate they are to unload them. Sadly they are mostly V8's where I'm more interested in the V6.

Anyways, I'll keep you posted. I'm looking forward to posting pics of my new truck!

Edmunds is showing a $1500 cash rebate or cheap financing on 07's in Chicago for the month of March.

Toyota.com shows the same thing. Go to "Build and Price Your 4Runner", and then click "Special Offers" in the little toolbar in the upper-right corner.

Interesting... Tri-County has treated me VERY WELL both at the time of sale and when I have used them for service.
I would be interested to hear more specifics as to why you feel that way.


From my experience the only time dealers heavily discount vehicles seems to be at year end in November/December.
At that time it seems that the larger volume dealers get extra incentives and leftover models from Toyota to clear out.

Based on February's sales figures for 4Runners (ie Down 12.3 for the month and 14.9% YTD), it would seem that there were not many incentives then either.

patau13 - keep checking the Toyota site as I think they update that throughout the month. I'm pretty sure that the $1500 cash back or 0% deal last month changed as it was originally advertised until the end of the month and then it was changed to end on the 21st (Presidents

Crazy stuff. There are no incentives for my area, but you are right that the incentives of last month are still in place for most of the country. I guess I'll keep shopping out of my area and see what happens. Thanks for the advice so far.

Guess it doesn't help you any in PA, but the incentives were extended through March here in the Gulf States Area. Maybe they'll return for you soon.
