Wanting to trade my 2001 Tacoma Trd ext cab for a 4 runner or double cab truck. I thought that I wanted to build this and SAS but really want more room for dog and passenger. I got this truck from a close hunting buddy because I knew how he took care of things mechanically. I will not trade for anything STOCK. Has to be armored (bumper,sliders) and locked in rear. Will throw cash for the right trade
The truck has 320k miles, it was owned by a friend since 120k miles. He was on top of his maintenance. Clean title, clean carfax. SR5 factory E-locker with 4.10's truck. Power windows, cruise, seats are in great shape, carpet is very nice and plastics look great after deep clean.
In last 30k miles- New Trans, water pump, timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and have receipts. Oil changes every 5k from the carfax. No frame rot
I have completely gutted the interior, dyanmat everything, and steam cleaned/extracted the carpet and plastics. It's had seat covers on it so the seats are in great shape Also did spray-in Bedliner in the bed. Its a nice truck inside
The bad:
Paint sucks like most Toyotas stored outside
Friend is making a bracket to fix the aftermarket sunroof, it won't open anymore but will be a good moonroof.
rear bumper has rust.
