Wanting to trade my 2001 Tacoma Trd ext cab for a 4 runner. I thought that I wanted to build this and SAS but really want more room for dog and passenger. Plus I have two trucks and want a SUV. However, I will not trade for anything STOCK. Has to bee armored and locked at minimum
The truck has 320k miles, it was owned by a friend since 120k miles. He is on top of his maintenance. Clean title, clean carfax. SR5 factoryE-locker with 4.10's truck.
In last 30k miles- New Trans, water pump, timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and have receipts. Oil changes every 5k from the carfax. No frame rot
I have completely gutted the interior, dyanmat everything, and steam cleaned/extracted the carpet and plastics. It's had seat covers on it so the seats are in great shape Also did spray-in Bedliner in bed
The bad:
Paint sucks like most Toyotas stored outside
Friend is making a bracket to fix the aftermarket sunroof, it won't open anymore but will be a good moonroof.
rear bumper has rust.
