I'm Mental. No, really.

Picked up an '02 for the daily grind. Got a 2x, as I've already got the 4x covered. Good little truck with 200k on the clock. Bought the timing belt kit from that guy on ebay per your recommendations (thanks to all who posted in that thread), and bought a new radiator.

Really appreciate the positive attitude on this forum. There's a lot of elitism on most of the forums I frequent, so this one is a breath of fresh air. Great community.

Question: anyone know where to source these two flare panels? I would rather get used, as it would match the truck better, but I'll be happy to get new if someone can point me in the right direction there, too. I know of a good shop for the paint work.

Okay, first one to throw in a six pack of 'the beast', a handful of spare change,
and a six month subscription to Ebony magazine can get the trade.

In all seriousness, this is my second Raptor and they're build like crap compared
to these gen3's. I jumped everything I could over 20k miles in my last one and
the steering and chassis felt horrible after that. Ridiculously loose. Everything
with the Yota feels super tight and it's 14 years older. So this Raptor might see a
little air and a few trails, but for the most part will be used to tow for track days.
Believe it or not, it's actually one of the best vehicles for long distance traveling
that I've owned. Other than that, the 3.4 is plenty quick for getting through
traffic, it handles great, and the build quality is off the charts compared to the
Ford.

If anyone knows of, or sees the parts I need, lemme know!

You speak my language! How does a 30 pack and a year sound? But seriously, try jumping the 4Runner like the Raptor and then compare, ya know, for science and stuff! :lookout:

Where you located in Texas? There is a guy in Garland that specializes in 4Runner parts.
