Wyoming Off-Roading

I have been reading this board for a long time (I love it) but this is the first time I've posted on this board. I am looking for someone that has experience off-roading in WY. I need some general questions answered about WY. My brother (G500) and I ('03 4Runner) are planning a trip for the second week in July.

sorry to semi jack this thread but just got carried away!

i know a place just east of star vally on the other side of the mountains, well we took a 16 mile hike, (round trip) went from gravel road-dirt bumpy road-4wheeler trail-dirtbike trail.
ending at some lakes on top of this mountain... it was alot of fun but not sure about much offroading, i bet u could go out but not how far you could make it in a car since some of the trails were through creeks and in trees... but i will give u a picture off google earth i took along time ago

anyway the trail took us 6 hours to this lake and 3 hours to get back, it is a 3,000 feet climb from start to finish but well worth the treasure at the top!
