x-mas lights on dash -not celebrating

My Ol 97 3.4 V6 has abs, battery and air bag lights going off and on. Mechanic says electrical problems...time to sell. I replaced original motor at 265k and have been going for some time. no major electrical work since owned. Any thoughts? maybe upgrade to 2008 v6? towing seems to be better esp with wd hitch. Any guidance would be appreciated. thanks.

I tend to agree. On a vehicle that old, I suspect you can get it fixed, even if that included ripping an ECU out of a junked one. If the truck runs, no point throwing it out just yet..

In particular that era truck. Nice.
