Hi,
I want to upgrade my current lamps for Xenon HID's. A friend recomended me a good kit and I'm intrested on adding this mod to my runner.
Can this mode be made even if my Runner has the Projector lenses on the headlights?
Has any one else done this mod, and where did you got your HID's?

Do a quick search for Xenon Depot. That's what I have (6k kit) and it works perfeectly with the projector lenses.

Good luck

Here is my write up of my install of Xenon Depot kit.

You can also get see my it on Xenon Depot's website under CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS. Look for Titanium '06 4-runner.

I suggest getting the 4300K kit as it is same color as OEM's use and gives out more light. Good luck!!

You can take a look at the kit I have.
Xetronic. See my signature for wright-up. I have reflector headlights, but you can order your kit for H11 projectors.

The conversion to HID is awesome!! i've got them and i'll never go back to anythign else. Teh thing you need to be careful of is that if you have aftermarket projectors, you have to make sure that they can handle the extra heat of the HID bulb. If not, HID's will end up melting the projectors.

My runner actually came with Projectors from factory.
So I guess it is pretty simple from there, no?

Yeah, it is really simple. What i do recommend is that you go about 6000k any higher and it will do more bad than good. At 8000K you'll start to get lots of glare off of reflections. at 10,000K the reflections and glare gets so bad that you your vision will be beter with regular halogens. If you are wanting fog lights, then go waht ever brightness.
