Can't remember where I once saw it, but most of these guys selling HID kits are getting from the same manufacturer in Taiwan. I saw their site once and they had kits you could assemble with all types of different looking ballasts and bulbs, etc. So I'm hard pressed to go with one guys kit over another if there's a big price difference. For example, the BMW and Porsche guys "swear" by DDM Tuning's kits, and they're only $65; $25 for bulb pair. Ever see an older BMW go down the road with what would have to be an HID kit? Most likely bought from DDM. And mostly likely DDM got it from the same Taiwanese supplier.
Sooo, for $10/pr., I'd say go for it. You've really got nothing to lose other than to prove something. You can't beat that you're getting this for less than what it would cost to go to Pep Boys (haven't seen Wal-Mart with H11's yet) and replace with some OEM Sylvania's.
