XenonDepot DRL PWM LED Driver Available for Pre-Order

It looks like Xenon Depot is no longer owned by "Art of Light Inudustries" out of Canada. The receipt I just got from them is from "The Retrofit Source" out of Georgia. I have reached out to Xenon Depot on Instagram for more information.

...also, Xenon Depot's website is now listing their address as "2195 Defoor Hills Rd Suite M | Atlanta, GA | 30318" - the same address as TRS.

That's nice. After spent $300 they don't even bother to answer their e-mails.
It's been already a week since ordered and the same message "Processing". I've sent e-mail to customer service and got an automated e-mail with the same info that I already know about the order, but nobody respond to my e-mail. The took the money right away, but their 24-48 hours shipping it's just for suckers.
Do you know guys if I can cancel it? If still shows Processing after a week I'll like to cancel it.

Looks like it is true...

Being that they are under new ownership, I would say be patient, but I hope you get a response soon. This was not typical of XD in the past, and I hope this is just a stumble on the path to transitioning to GA.

Here is the response I got on Instagram...

... Customer service went to complete sh*t. Sorry to say but I am very disappointed with this whole deal of them being bought out. They use to have amazing customer service.
I am saddened by this. Xenon Depot was among the best in terms of customer service. Hopefully these are just transitional inconsistencies that will get ironed out soon. Fingers crossed!

I never dealt with the company before they were bought out, but the new customer support sucks big time.
First call on hold for 25 min, the guy responds and says they are out of DRL Drivers, but will ship soon, he don't know exactly how soon. I've said I want to cancel and he said OK and he hang out on me.
Second call on hold for 22 min, I've told the guy that I want to cancel and want to receive a confirmation e-mail. Said no problem, still waiting to receive the e-mail, but he said will cancel it.
There are so many other quality LEDs on Amazon or Ebay, the only reason that I've choose to pay $300 for a set was this forum and I liked the DRL feature, but I really don't need the DRL if they treat their customers like that. How about if I need warranty or need to send some parts back?
To my experience, right now they are a joke and I hope never to buy from them again.

And I have 2 4Runners, so I've bought another set if they treat the customers with respect and honor their shipping time. When you say "24-48 hours" every decent website, usually is 24 hours and sometimes 48 hours, but not a whole week or even more since they still didn't have the DRL Drivers.

I have a set of these in hand. Have not installed yet. Packaging was not similar to prior XD orders. Basically they were kinda jammed into a half closed box that they didn't fit all the way inside of and then rolled in a shipping envelope. Packaging was not confidence inspiring. But... if they work I really don't care what they look like and I'd probably rather not pay $5 more for a fancy box. They're just not similar to past orders. However, the product its self looks okay I think. If they flicker - they're going back. I'll update when I install them. I'm just really busy, so I won't get to it until at least the coming weekend at the soonest.

My biggest issue with these is that the whole assembly becomes a rat's nest of wires and modules. I've put my HID's back in, so now I've got the HID setup plus the LEDs and then the DRL module on top of that. It's time for me to rip it all out and do a proper module box that contains all the different components and mounts to a real mounting location, not double sided tape.

Looks they canceled my order on their website (no orders shows up anymore), but still no confirmation e-mail.

Where is the OP when we have problems? If someone from the company responded to my e-mail maybe never cancel the order.
Now will start searching for a decent set in Amazon/Ebay.

I ordered two weeks ago. I called them this and had to wait 15 minutes in que before a human picked up. Said they were backed up and backordered (HID for lows and led for DRLs). Indicated that they should ship early next week. Very nervous about this company and I would caution anyone from ordering for a while. I’ll provide an update on whether I receive them or not.

I was in the same situation. I've gave up after 1 week, no updates and I've called, been on hold for longer time than 15 min (I've called am 7am, just to make sure not a lot of people on the West Coast will call at that time). I've cancelled the order over the phone, since nobody answer my e-mail requests, never got a confirmation e-mail with the cancellation, but I got my money back today.

Unless they fix this problem, I don't want to deal with the new company.

Got a different brand from Amazon today. I've put the order at 3pm and got it at 6pm (delivered in 3 hours). You cannot beat this and I know that I can return them without any questions if I'm not happy.

Maybe other people will have better luck, but for me was not a good first impression.

They took 12 days to finally ship my headlights.

They responded to my 3rd or 4th email last week stating they were moving fulfillment centers apparently.

I informed them that some kind of notice on the website when ordering would have been really nice.

12 days is too much for shipping (when says 24-48 hours), you have to wait a few more days for delivery. I hope there are the same quality, but will never know with the new management in place. My problem is with the warranty or replacement, if you ever needed will take a month to get new lights?

I understand that could be problems with running out of stock, but let your customers know by e-mail or post it on the website. Is still shows 24-48 hours shipping and nothing about "Out of stock" for DRL drivers, or that will take 12 days for shipping.

If I would have known that they were bought out I would not have ordered from them. Probably why they have zero mention of that on the website.

By shipped I mean I have a tracking number. As of today the USPS has not actually received the item. At this rate it will be well over two weeks after paying for the item that I will have it.

If this is how they do business I do not recommend using them at all.

I am in the same boat on my order as well... :(

Same with me, I'll not recommend doing business with the new company after waiting a week for them to ship and no word when they will be able to ship it.
Amazon on the other end, they delivered a set of H11+9005 in 3 hours. It's delivered, not shipped.

They don't answer their e-mails and the phone waiting is over 20 min.

If you don't care about using DRL there are so many good choices at a fraction of their price. For me, I don't care about DRL so I've choose a different brand that I've found on Amazon (H11 + 9005 = $90). When I think back, I was willing to pay $300 for the same setup and the only benefit was DRL feature working.

While I'm not happy with their current customer service, I can tell you that their bulb is far superior to anything I got off Amazon or eBay over the past several years. Is it worth the money? ...not if their customer service is going to be this bad. nope.

For sure those lights are better quality, but for me that's not all. If you treat me like that when I've order it, how will you treat me when I have problems. Even the best quality products have problems. For sure a $45 led is not the same quality like a $150 one, but for me, in the end is how you treat your customers.

Amazon was always nice with me and every time they resolve any problems I've had.

Good luck with your order.

It doesn't matter how good the product is if you never actually get it...

You'll get it, you have a tracking number now. You can now blame only USPS if they'll loose your box :)

For me, I need it sooner than 2 weeks, I have a trip next week and want to have better lights driving thru mountain passes.

I was having some issues with one of my HID's not coming on when the lights were turned on and I tried to contact customer service on 1/4...I was on hold for 25 minutes and I finally hung up. They seem to be working ok now, but the customer service was the reason why I bought from them. It's a little disheartening to know that the main reason I bought from them is now an issue. Good products for sure, but customer service can make or break it.

Xenon Depot’s customer service was outstanding in the few times I dealt with them, it is truly sad to see this going away.
