I purchased my LED headlight kit a few weeks before they were bought out. I’m nervous to install it now. If I have any issues or problems will they reply to any questions or warranty any parts?
Wow, I ordered my kits from them new years weekend and everything was shipped out on the 2nd. Got it a couple days later. Haven't installed anything yet since I just got my 4Runner...hopefully the customer service situation gets settled quick for all.
For sure those lights are better quality, but for me that's not all. If you treat me like that when I've order it, how will you treat me when I have problems. Even the best quality products have problems. For sure a $45 led is not the same quality like a $150 one, but for me, in the end is how you treat your customers.
Amazon was always nice with me and every time they resolve any problems I've had.
Good luck with your order.
I believe you have to select the DRL driver when you choose the it you want. It'll ship with the old driver and the new DRL driver (at least it did when I ordered mine at the end of December), so just make sure you use the correct one (it's listed as "DRL Driver" on it).
awesome new option. I am running a different brand led 9005 in mine and it also doesn't flicker and doesn't run full high in DRL. It also doesn't have that ballast like box.
I solved my HID bulb install issue. I called XenonDepot who confirmed the bulb should install a quarter turn and only go in one way. So I headed back to the car....
I took the bulb out and tried again. It still would not lock a 1/4 turn. I took the rubber seal off and tried again. At first I got the game results then with more wiggling it went in 1/4 turn. So now I validated where I should expect the bulb to “lock”. I tried again with the original seal but again I could not get it to go in the whole way. So I looked at the original halogen bulbs (also Philips) and they had similar seals. But these were a little softer and appears to be a might thinner. I swapped the seals and tried again. Success! I did the same with the other side and again success.
So TLDR, if you are having issues getting yourPhilips H11 HIDs to seat properly, try swapping the seals with the original halogens.

Remember to take the e-brake off when checking/installing to see if it works fml
Just spent 30 minutes fiddling with the drivers and wiring trying to figure out why they were not working in DRL mode. Then I found this. All good now. Thank you for sharing!
