I finally took a bite and ordered the DRL Xenon Pro LED with the LED driver with their Black Friday sale going on. Hope this works well on mine. Tired of seeing yellow lights.

I have a TRD ORP on order and I wanted to get upgraded lights and have them ready to install but I find this whole process confusing.

I want white LED lights for both low and high beams, not yellow and I want to maintain DRL functionality. What exactly do I need to order?

If you order the 9005 kit it has a $59.00 option for the DRL led driver. but they sell the drl led driver separately for 29 bucks?

I’ve got these installed as my DRL/high beams with the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 for lows and they work quite well. I’ve been tempted to go to the Morimoto XB headlight, but I just can pull the trigger on $1k for headlights.

I also put GTR Carbide turn signals in, too, and they are bright as heck...they are pretty solid.

I went back and looked, says sold as a set. worse case I lose a week with shipping and pay 30 more bucks?

Just tried to install these with the new led drl driver and they aren’t working at all. I’ve flipped the connection on both sides too still nothing. I tried to call and get support but no one works on the weekend. Any advice?

This is going to sound stupid, but I was experiencing the same thing...because I didn't have the vehicle on and running...

I know that sounds incredibly simple, but that's what I overlooked. Mine have worked without a hitch.

Well, figured it out. Wish it was the vehicle not running part. The round connector wasn’t plugged in enough which caused it to not come on. Lol. They work great now. Haven’t tried the drl but highbeams yes.

Awesome - glad you got it figured out. I do recall the round connector being a little harder to get fully seated.

You'll like the DRL - not blinding, but enough to make sure you are easily seen. I put the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 in my lows and they match up pretty well with the Xenon's.

Still, your rig looks great!

I just installed these tonight and I'm having the same issue with the DRLs not working, unfortunately tightening up the round connector didn't fix my issue. I went back to the stock bulbs and those are now not working either. Any body have any ideas to a fix? I know XD is closed on the weekend so I can't contact them until Monday.

Remember to take the e-brake off when checking/installing to see if it works fml

Nevermind, I'm glad I'm just an idiot and forgot to take off the e-brake. Glad I decided to reread every post on this thread.

awesome new option. I am running a different brand led 9005 in mine and it also doesn't flicker and doesn't run full high in DRL. It also doesn't have that ballast like box.

Are you able to share what brand these lights are and how they have been working out for you?

Please share if you get this message. I am yet to find a light like what you are describing. All of the lights I am seeing would require a box / driver to accomplish this.
