That would be the only difference between the Xtreme HID kit with philips bulbs and without. You are paying a little for the brand name but having said that Philips does rated their bulbs to be brighter compared to other HID bulbs and they color shift from 4300K to 4700K after 100 hours.

Honestly you can't go wrong with either option.
