I need to replace my hid with a xd's kit, not sure which one, and may purchase tail signals if led signals are bright enough.

SilverGs - The installation guide that comes with the HID kit is the only one we have. However, you may want to take a look at this DIY guide that one of our Toyota 4Runner forum members put together - Toyota 4Runner 2003- Xtreme 4300K 9006
If you have the Volt HID kit this will literally plug right into your OEM harness, the kit comes with mating connectors so there is only one way to plug everything in. If you require additional assistance I would be more than happy to help you over the phone with the install. Send me a PM with your phone number.

See the pics below of the kit, can you identify which connectors connect to what specifically? I have labelled them by number so it is easy to see.
I can see that connector labelled #1 should connect to #4. What about the other 5? Where are they supposed to connect to?

If that's the case, then how does the ballast get its power? Does that mean my statement saying 1 and 4 are connected is wrong?
If that is wrong, then how is the HID bulb connected to the ballast?

im interested in your hid kit for my 2007 4runner cause u had good connector to connect to the original oem and slim ballast plus relay too and i already saw the diy on your website, its pretty simple plug and play and i just wonder, is the ballast and the relay and the connector to the orginal blub oem connector waterproof ? if i do water crossing. and what is the different between 4300k and 8000k ? is it different color and brightness? cause i saw in your website u had sale on 8000k h11. and how long for the warranty for the hid kit and if i order one, do i get free shipping? thanks.

ejn184 -Yes the Xtreme HID kit is completely plug + play. The ballasts are completely epoxy sealed and water tight. I really would not recommend prolonged exposure to water, I would also recommend mounting everything as high as possible if you are going through deep water.
4300k will be a pure white output and will have the highest lumen rating. It's the brightest and most functional choice. 8000k will be blue in color and will not be that bright. There is no functional benefit in going with a higher color temp kit. The Xtreme kit comes with a 3 yr warranty, Free Shipping is available on orders to the lower 48 states.

thanks for the information. last question, is there a huge different between halogen bulbs that i use now like piaa intense white and the extreme hid kit? or is it almost the same ? cause i read on this forum, some say didnt make much difference when see by eye. is it true? thanks
