Hey everybody!

Have you been looking for a bright yellow LED solution to replace your halogen Fog Light bulbs? If so, we've definitely got you covered. We recently rolled out a Yellow/Amber (2700K) version of our popular Xtreme PRO H11 LED Kit. These are great for Fog Light use - bright yellow light to cut through Fog (like originally intended) and rated at ~1150 lumens (that's Steady Output, after they have been running for an hour). These make a great fit in H8, H11, and H16 bulb fitments, and may be the right option for you.

Is it me or the yellow doesn’t look as bright as 3k hids? They almost look like halogen 3k coloring. I was thinking the color would look more like the baja fogs.

The Xtreme LED Pro kit is rated at 2700K and no they won't be as bright as an HID kit or our standard 5500K Xtreme LED Pro kits. We designed them with a lower lumen rating (~1150 lumens stable per bulb) to give them a deeper yellow color.

The main difference would be the brightness.

The Xtreme LED Pro kit in Yellow is rated at ~1150 stable lumens per bulb, while the Philips ones are rated at 700 lumens. Both bulbs have a sold state heatsink, however the flexible heatsink on the Xtreme Pro bulb fits a wider variety of applications.

The main difference would be the brightness as the Xtreme LED Pro kit in Yellow is rated at ~1150 stable lumens per bulb while the Philips ones are rated at 700 lumens. Additionally, the heatsink style is different as well with the Philips bulbs having a sold state heatsink while the Xtreme LED Pro uses patented aluminum alloy leaf passive heat sink which helps dissipate the heat better.

We've rated the Xtreme LED Pro kit for 50,000 hours while the Philips 12793UNIX2 Kit is rated for a 12-year lifespan.

Standard H16 halogen bulbs are rated at about ~ 500 lumens.
