Anyone tried this part?
I was doing an install in a friends CRV today. I routed the wires all clean and everything but happened to look online and found this thing:

I was looking for an alternate source, so she would still have her single 12V adapter available for ipod, etc.

"I used the Littlefuse adapter to run a new circuit for the power over from the fuse box....I really wish I had done my car this way instead of splicing off the nearest outlet. I didn't have to alter anything in the car, and there's no addtional draw on any of the original fuses. I stuck the adapter in spot #4, because the instructions said not to replace a fuse higher than 10 amps, and it was the most conveniently located one that switched on and off with the key. I ran the red wire of the Radio Shack outlet from the cubby to down near the fuse box and crimped them together. Another few zip-ties kept it all out of sight behind the dash. I grounded the black wire to the screw on the left-hand side of the cubby. Once I plugged in the 3V adapter that came with the Roady, I stashed the whole thing in some of the empty space under the cubby."

). The LittleFuse Add-A-Circuit was a great way to add the switchable power source to my Roady. I'm considering doing the same thing to "hard wire" my radar detector in my 'Runner. Works like a charm, and is very clean.
