XM Radio Install question

I couldn't find it on a search, but didn't someone on here hard wire their XM through the sunglasses holder on their 03-05? I remember a write up about this somewhere but cannot find the link.

I installed a Roady2 up there. I ran all the wires across the headliner and down the Apillar into the dash.

i was thinking about hardwiring the unit into the light and running the antenna through the headliner to the rear light and out the gate. i believe that the roady has a built in FM transmitter so it could chat via the fm stereo that way.

Yeah, I thought about hooking into that light, but ended up not wanting to mess with it. I bought a cig lighter at wal-mart and wired it into the cig lighter in the console. I placed it in the headliner and plugged the supplied roady transformer into it up there. I also pre-ran some audio cables while everything was apart. I'm not currently using them, but they're there in case I ever get an adapter or HU w/ AUX. I ran the antenna the way you're talking about.
