XM Roady2 Mounting

Can anyone post pics of their Roady2 or other satellite radio unit mounting jobs? The unit comes with a real nice adhesive mounted swivel base, but I am real hesitant to use adhesive cause it may be a PIA to get off. I did try the air vent mount approach for a while but it tended to mess up the little air vent blades and I just barely got one of them back in position properly without breaking it.

Roady2 Install

Here are some pics of my quick and dirty install. I plan to clean it up a bit or go with a XM ready deck once the new wears off. I don't quite have the guts to tear into the dash just yet. :D

My Roady2 Install

I did a very temporary install while waiting for my home kit, so I can take the Roady2 & antenna out and use them in my ranch house. I found that, for me, the air vent install is fine. Also, I mount the antenna (magnetically) to the front edge of the center speaker grill on the top of the dashboard. Reception is fine down here at < 30 deg. latitude.
