My problem with Sirius XM on the new Entune Premium system in my ORP is that it sounds like shit. (It does in my friends newer SR5 too).
The stereo sounds fine with the radio and CD but the satellite radio is boomy and has muddy, over-boosted base. It's all but unlistenable. Not to thread jack but does anyone else find this to be true?

XM is analog and not digital. The only way to make it sound better is to play it through your phone app.

Anyways who needs good sound when you have all the windows open. :dancin:

Absolutely. sounds tinny and compressed. Was the same like 15 years ago on the standalone sirius receivers I used to have. Was surprised it still sounds shitty. Not to mention paying for a service to listen to music/entertainment that I still hear commercials on is ridiculous. Needless to say I did not extend my 3 month trial.

Seems like XM likes to do that on certain channels. I notice it more on some than others.
